Curtain Call

This rally is perpetuating. It's like watching a landslide bringing forth destruction and taking out everything in its path. Only, it's headed uphill.

The shorts are getting murdered today, and stocks are getting over bid based on the plow-down of resistance levels across the board. The dollar is strong, crude is weak, and my portfolio has officially erased last months "fog-ball" of volatility.

And we are just getting warmed up.

I almost spent an hour or so recording a video that would re-cap this weeks watchlist. Then it occurred to me, who cares? I think most would agree that what's more important is finding next weeks victims, which I have already done. You should be very excited.

In regards to the watchlist, I will say this: the themes have worked, and some of them will continue to work. By "themes," I mean long healthcare, biotech, pharma, and tech....and short energy, coal, agriculture, shippers, solar, and exchanges.

In terms of percentages, this weeks arsenal of stocks ranks as top 5 material. Easily.

With an hour left, a surplus of market change, and the sun shining on my face, I am going to purge my inventory. I cannot afford to risk gains on positions I can't monitor as closely early on next week. Plus, I want to have a clear mind as I attempt to withdraw more more out of Vegas than I did in the markets this week. Therefore, I am closing on my shorts on ICE, POT, FSLR, FRO, and GME. Conversely, I am taking profits on my long positions in RIMM, AAPL, CNQR, BWLD, CMED, ILMN, AMZN, and MOH.

I am left with...

Long: SYNA, MATK, QDEL, CELG, KSU

Short: STP, FXI, CF, MEE, CLF, NOV

My stops are in place, and ready for whatever hand the market wants to play next week.

Speaking of which, I will be here and updating this site with commentary, trade ideas, and more importantly, evidence of what is really happening in Vegas. I figure, if you can't be there with me, I want you to still feel as if you are a part of the action.

Keep an eye out for the watchlist this weekend, and a podcast this afternoon.

Have a good weekend,

The Option Addict
